Filming starts on ‘Saint John of Las Vegas’

Wow. Emmanuelle Chriqui has gone from a light-hearted Adam Sandler movie about a former Israeli agent turned hairdresser to a potentially hardcore movie dealing with the salvation of a man’s soul.
Chriqui recently began work on the set of the upcoming Hue Rhodes drama Saint John of Las Vegas alongside the likes of Steve Buschemi, Romany Malco and Emily Mortimer. The film will, according to Rhodes, be a loose adaptation of Dante’s Inferno, an old story about a man who has to travel through hell to reach paradise.
In the new movie Buscemi will be an ex-gambler training under the ring of a maverick fraud investigator.
How that will translate to Inferno is everybody’s guess. Needless to say, though, Chriqui will be in it. So, y’know, yay!
